Responsibilities
* Reporting to the Manager - People and Culture, the Team Leader - Culture and Talent Management will shape and deliver Council's people agenda.
* Lead initiatives that strengthen organisational culture, build leadership capability, and support workforce engagement across a diverse and dynamic organisation.
* Oversee talent management, succession planning, leadership programs and employee experience initiatives, partnering with leaders across Council to design and embed strategies that drive performance, inclusion and innovation.
* Support organisational transformation to ensure staff are engaged, supported, and aligned to Council's vision and values.
Qualifications and experience
The successful candidate will bring strong experience in culture and talent management, with a track record of delivering programs that improve workforce capability and engagement. You will demonstrate excellent stakeholder management skills, the ability to collaborate across a complex organisation, and the confidence to provide expert advice to leaders at all levels. With strong communication and influencing skills, you will inspire and coach your team to deliver high-quality outcomes, while fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement and customer focus.
