About therole
Bunge isseeking an experienced Senior Procurement Officer to lead andcoordinate procurement activities across our operations. This keyrole is responsible for managing supplier relationships, securingreliable supply, reducing cost and risk, and delivering long‐termvalue to the business.
You willpartner closely with operational, regional and global teams toexecute procurement strategies, strengthen governance and support aculture where safety, quality and compliance arenon‐negotiable.
Dutiesinclude
* Develop and executemarket and country procurement strategies aligned to regionaland global objectives.
* Identify costsavings, value creation and supplier consolidationopportunities across spend categories.
* Leadsourcing activities including RFQs, tenders, negotiations,contract award and supplier performance management.
* Deliver sourcingplans, track savings achievement and report through approvedsavings platforms.
* Manage supplierselection and present strategic sourcing and contracts(US$500K+) for management approval.
* Ensure timely POexecution, address supplier quality/capacity risks and maintainsupply continuity for critical goods and services.
* Drive adoption ofregional and global category initiatives, procurement tools andcompliant purchasing processes.
* Monitor markettrends, supply risk and pricing; ensure policy compliance whileeducating stakeholders and driving TCOimprovements.
Aboutyou
* Tertiaryqualification in Law, Commerce, Procurement or a relatedfield.
* Experience inprocurement or supporting procurement activities.
* Excellent businessacumen with strong negotiation, analytical and numericalskills.
* Outstandingstakeholder engagement and communication skills.
* Highattention to detail with the ability to manage competingpriorities.
* Proficiency in MSWord, Excel, PowerPoint and Project.
* Experience insupplier selection, performance management, issue resolutionand risk management.
* Capability tosupport regional or global initiatives and deliver continuousimprovement outcomes.
