Flowers HQ is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Floral Quality Officer to support our operations in Mile End, South Australia.
This is a dynamic, hands-on role that plays a key part in upholding our commitment to quality and excellence across our floral supply chain.

About the Role
This position supports the adoption of Quality Management principles across the site and ensures our products meet the highest standards.
Your primary focus will be driving quality through early identification of issues from receivals through to final sale.
This includes working with a dedicated team in rectifying issues, and escalating concerns when necessary.
This is a hands-on role and will include assisting with warehouse operations, inventory management, and customer service.

Key Responsibilities
Quality Assurance
· Daily hands-on visual assessment of raw product stocks for freshness and age.
· Monitor and improve QA processes as required
· Execute and maintain ICA accreditation
· Conduct quality control checks on outgoing products
· Manage dispatch materials and pallet inventory
· Prepare weekly/monthly quality statistics and deviation reports
Warehouse Operations
· On arrival assessment of flowers against specifications applicable to site.
· Ensure raw product stocks are rotated well and manage maintenance of inventory records.
· Pick, pack, and dispatch orders accurately
· Maintain showroom merchandising and quality standards
Administration & Compliance
· Manage documentation for ICA and quality programs
Customer Service
· Assist with inquiries and order modifications
· Handle small cash transactions and reconcile sales
· Maintain a professional and helpful demeanor

What We're Looking For
Skills & Experience
· Floristry experience is a must have for this role
· Strong communication, proactiveness and teamwork skills.
· Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
· Ability to analyse data and identify trends
· Forklift licence (preferred but not essential)
· Experience in QA and warehouse operations (preferred)
· Strong understanding of QA methodologies (ISO 9001 preferred)
