Synergie is seeking Lifeguards at Edinburgh.
Our client, is a leading infrastructure services company delivering essential services across a broad range of sectors including defence, utilities, transport, and telecommunications. With a strong reputation for safety, reliability, and innovation, our client support complex operations through maintenance, facilities management, and project delivery.
The ideal candidate will maintain a high level of alertness, enforce pool rules, respond effectively to emergencies, and provide excellent customer service to all patrons.
Key Responsibilities
1. Monitor swimming areas and maintain constant surveillance of patrons.
2. Enforce all pool rules and regulations to ensure a safe and enjoyable environment.
3. Respond quickly and effectively to all emergency situations, providing rescue and first aid as necessary.
4. Perform regular pool inspections to ensure safety and cleanliness of the facility, including water quality checks.
5. Administer CPR, AED, and First Aid when required.
6. Maintain accurate records of incidents, maintenance, and safety checks.
7. Participate in regular training sessions and emergency drills.
8. Provide information and assistance to patrons in a courteous and professional manner.
9. Support pool management with setup, cleanup, and daily operational duties.
Qualifications & Requirements Certification:
10. Current Lifeguard Certification
11. CPR/AED and First Aid Certification (must be valid)
12. Strong swimming and rescue skills.
13. Excellent communication, observation, and decision-making abilities.
14. Ability to remain calm and act swiftly in emergencies.
15. Physically fit and able to perform strenuous rescue activities.
