The Role
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Property Professional to manage the ABC's Sydney Metro Property Portfolio, a diverse and dynamic environment that supports Australia's national broadcaster every day. You'll lead all soft services and support tenant relationships whilst supporting the Sydney facilities team, ensuring our buildings are safe, sustainable, and aligned with ABC's corporate strategy.
In This Role You Will
* Develop and implement operational property plans, oversee the day‐to‐day management of the property portfolio, and ensure all building operations, contract services and engineering maintenance meet required standards.
* Provide strategic advice on long‐ and short‐term property initiatives, manage the delivery of projects and change activities, and prepare key operational reporting.
* Manage resources and budgets, and environmental initiatives in line with the ABC's finance, procurement, and sustainability frameworks.
* Cultivate effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders, leading teams and contractors, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and WHS requirements.

To be successful in this role, you will have well developed leadership, project and people management skills, with the ability to coordinate and motivate a diverse variety of teams in a positive and supportive manner.

* Proven experience managing a broad range of buildings, including complex and technology‐intensive facilities, with the ability to adapt to a changing environment and a continuous‐improvement mindset.
* Strong leadership and project management skills, with the ability to delegate, motivate, and support staff effectively.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer‐service skills.
* Ability to work with senior management and stakeholders, balancing organisational objectives with client needs.
* Demonstrated financial management capability, including budgeting and benchmarking.
* Highly developed analytical, organisational, research and computer literacy skills, with the ability to prepare detailed technical reports and submissions.
