Right now the company is experiencing exciting growth across the country and we are currently seeking a motivated Technical Officer to join the Woomera Test Range Support Services (WTRSS) program based at the Centre for Joint Integration facility in Mawson Lakes. The WTRSS program manages leading-edge defence equipment on the world’s largest overland test environment and continually developing new capabilities to keep it as the world’s premier test range.
Our Technical Officers are working on projects that truly contribute to the defence of our nation. We look for specialists with a talent for big picture thinking and attention to detail – engineering officers with the knowledge and knowhow to apply technical theories and concepts and deliver real-world solutions. Responsible for providing requirements, design, and verification support to the WTRSS systems with a focus on Radar and Communication Networks, the key to success will be the ability to apply a broad range of engineering skills to support the program’s development through its full engineering life cycle.

Key Responsibilities

Skills, Experience and Qualifications
11. Certificate III or higher in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent discipline.
12. Minimum of 3 years’ prior relevant experience.
13. Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite.
14. Radar and/or Communication Networks experience desirable.
15. Demonstrated experience within a Defence environment desirable.
16. Knowledge of Systems Engineering Lifecycle desirable.
