About this role
We are seeking a skilled financial professional to join our finance team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining financial records, including general ledger accounts and financial statements.
Your duties will include reviewing financial documents and transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance. You will also perform financial analysis and reporting to support business decisions, preparing and reviewing annual/quarterly budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
Additionally, you will manage capital work in progress through to asset capitalisation upon project completion, maintain fixed asset, intangible asset, and inventory registers across multiple regions in coordination with cross-functional teams.
You will partner with stakeholders to track and communicate the status of current and upcoming capital projects, develop, implement, and maintain accounting policies and procedures in the company.
You will prepare supporting schedules to half-year and full-year financial statements and reporting, perform general ledger reconciliations evidencing sound financial control of relevant entities, and develop commercial understanding of key supplier contracts to inform asset management decisions.
In this role, you will contribute to annual budgeting and rolling forecasts with capex inputs and prepare ad hoc reports and analysis as needed.
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Commerce.
* Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role.
* CPA, CA, or equivalent qualification (or currently studying toward one).
* Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
* Strong understanding of financial management in a technology-driven environment.
* Exceptional attention to detail.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Intermediate to advanced Excel proficiency.
