About the role: We're looking for a Performance Copywriter to join our marketing team and take our paid media creatives to the next level. This role is perfect for someone who loves blending creative writing with data-driven strategy.
Working alongside our marketing team of 7, you'll be the creative force behind our paid campaigns, writing video scripts and static briefs that convert, while using performance data to continuously refine our creative approach. From identifying winning patterns to developing robust testing frameworks, you'll push creative boundaries while ensuring strong ROI across all paid channels.
This role is available at our Gold Coast or Sydney office.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and execute creative strategies that align with overall paid media marketing objectives and targets.
* Lead the ideation, creation, and optimisation of ad creatives (including but not limited to images, videos, and copy) for paid social media campaigns.
* Monitor paid media performance data to identify winning creative patterns, then translate these insights into comprehensive briefs for the creative team, ensuring all new assets align with performance goals and brand standards.
* Utilise data and analytics to monitor campaign performance, identify opportunities for improvement, and optimise creative assets to drive higher conversion rates and lower acquisition costs.
Essential Experience:
* 3+ years experience in paid media script writing and static ad briefs.
* Experience leading creative strategy and development for high spend accounts ($200k+ monthly ad spend), with proven track record of managing creative processes in fast-paced environments.
* Proven track record of success in performance marketing, with a focus on creative strategy and execution within an eCommerce environment.
* Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and draw actionable insights to optimise campaign performance.
* Creative thinker with a passion for storytelling and creating compelling visuals and copy that resonate with target audiences.
* Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines, and work effectively in a fast paced environment.
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work cross-functionally.
