Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Gymnastics Coach, based in Albury, NSW.
We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Competitive Women's Artistic Gymnastics (WAG) Coach to join our coaching team. This role involves coaching competitive WAG gymnasts across selected levels, working collaboratively with our Head Coach and competitive coaching team to deliver structured, engaging and athlete-centred training sessions.
This position would suit a coach who is passionate about athlete development, values positive coaching practices, and enjoys being part of a supportive team culture. gym.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver high-quality training sessions for competitive WAG gymnasts
Develop gymnasts' technical skills, strength, flexibility and artistry appropriate to their level
Foster a positive, motivating and inclusive training environment
Work collaboratively with other competitive coaches on athlete development and progression
Attend competitions, events and training camps as required
Communicate effectively with gymnasts, parents and fellow staff
Uphold Flyaway Gymnastics' values, policies and child-safe practices
FIG Level 2 WAG qualification would be advantagous
About You
Experience coaching competitive WAG gymnasts (preferred)
Relevant Gymnastics Australia coaching accreditation (or willingness to obtain)
Strong knowledge of WAG technique, progressions and safe training practices
Positive, encouraging coaching style with excellent communication skills
Reliable, organised and passionate about continuous learning
Willingness to work afternoons, evenings and occasional weekends
