BDA is looking for a General Repair technician**,**to assist with ongoing maintenance and engineering support activities for ground-based mission systems and associated simulation laboratories. These systems and laboratories are utilised by engineers and program/product managers for developing and delivering world class capabilities and systems to protect Australia and its national interests. **Responsibilities**
- Maintaining & Operating advanced Mission System Simulators & Lab equipment in a fast-paced environment
- Maintenance and Repair of Commercial off the Shelf (COTS) and Aircraft Identical Equipment (AIE) enterprise data and communications equipment.
- Troubleshooting to isolate faults and repair faulty devices.
**Experience/Qualifications**
- Minimum Certificate III in Electronics and Communications or related qualification and industry experience is essential.
- Exceptional analytical, complex problem solving and communication skills, together with your ability to build strong stakeholder relationships is essential.
- A National Restricted Electrical or Qualified Electrical Supervisor License, or the ability to obtain one is highly desirable.
- Experience and knowledge with E-7A Mission Systems is desirable.
- Networking, IT and Linux based systems knowledge is highly desirable.
- A current AGSVA NV1 security clearance is desirable (ability to obtain one is essential).
