AIM Mining Corporation is an emerging gold development company with big plans underway. We currently operate the Warrawoona Gold Project in the East Pilbara region of Western Australia and are now preparing to ramp up operations at our Nullagine Gold Project.
About the Role
Are you ready to step into a high impact role where your expertise will contribute to the success of both underground and open pit operations? AIM Mining is seeking a capable and motivated Mine Geologist to support and deliver excellence across our mine sites.
This is your opportunity to play a key role in optimising ore extraction, driving geological best practice and supporting safe, efficient and innovative mining operations.
We are currently offering this role FIFO from Perth on a 15 days on, 13 days off roster, with immediate starts available.
Key Responsibilities
As our Mine Geologist, you will support geological activities across open cut and underground environments. Your responsibilities will include:
* Assisting with geological processes to optimise ore recovery, reduce dilution and deliver accurate and timely ore delineation.
* Working closely with Mining Operations, Geotechnical and Engineering teams to support mine planning and address ground-related challenges.
* Conducting grade control activities, contribute to resource modelling and maintain geological databases to high industry standards.
* Ensuring accurate data collection, reconciliation and reporting to support production and future resource growth.
* Contributing to a strong safety culture by following best practices and proactively identifying and managing risks.
About You
We are looking for a geologist who brings:
* Demonstrated experience in open pit and/or underground mining geology
* Strong technical capability in grade control, ore delineation and geological data management
* A proactive, solutions-focused mindset
* Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with operations teams
* A commitment to safety, continuous improvement and delivering results
