The BonBon Events & Experiences position sits at the heart of Aruga's events and activations division, driving the management and execution of unforgettable events and experiences. This hands-on role takes ownership of everything from large-scale consumer activations to bespoke VIP moments, transforming ideas into brand experiences that captivate audiences and leave a lasting impact.
Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in the Greater Brisbane Area for an Events and Experiences Producer. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, managing, and executing a diverse range of events and experiences. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless delivery of projects and memorable client experiences while maintaining deadlines and budgets.
Event & Activation Delivery
* Lead end-to-end management of events, activations everything from concepting through to post-event reporting.
* Develop and oversee detailed run sheets, timelines and budgets.
* Manage on-site delivery including bump-in, on-the-ground event management and bump-out.
* Be flexible to accommodate outside of 9-5 pm work requirements where needed.
Stakeholder & Client Management
* Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, keeping them informed, confident, and engaged.
* Build strong relationships with internal teams, external vendors, venues, and production partners.
* Influence and guide stakeholders to ensure decisions align with project objectives and timelines.
Project Management
* Own project budgets, cost control, and invoicing processes.
* Efficiency in project tools and systems including Scoro, Excel and Teams
* Manage scope, resources, and risk to ensure projects are delivered successfully.
* Provide proactive solutions to challenges and last-minute changes.
Creative Contribution
* Translate client objectives into creative, high-impact experiences.
* Contribute ideas to activations, campaigns, and event formats.
* Measure and report on outcomes, applying learnings to improve future delivery.
* Develop proposal documents for new and existing clients.
Account Management
* Displaying a proactive and solutions-focused approach to work.
* Managing day-to-day activities for assigned clients including: researching, planning, implementing and evaluating scope of works, paying careful attention to budgets, resources, deadlines and client records.
* Proactively developing and cultivating relationships with clients.
* Running weekly calls and meetings with assigned clients and developing agendas and post meeting notes.
* Maintaining clear and consistent communication between the client and the account team.
* Operating time-sheeting efficiently and tracking all time.
* Being open and responding positively to feedback.
* Delivering work prior to or on deadline.
* Displaying the ability to communicate effectively and remain calm and courteous under pressure.
Qualifications
* 4-6 years' experience in events, activations, or experiential marketing (agency experience preferred).
* Exceptional project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
* Strong stakeholder management capability across clients, internal teams, and external partners.
* Solutions-focused, calm under pressure, and highly organised.
* Commercially minded with experience managing budgets, scope, and margins.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Bonus if you have:
* Experience with large-scale public activations or high-profile brands in more complex stakeholder environments.
* Previous agency experience.
Salary commensurate with experience and industry standards.
