If you have a passion for healthcare and want to make a genuine impact, Lumia Care is where you belong.About the Role:This is a true end-to-end, hands-on People and Culture Manager role, reporting directly to the Chief People Officer (CPO) and working closely with a national leadership team. You’ll be part of a fast-paced, high-accountability environment, with the autonomy to take the lead and the support to grow into a strategic influencer across the group.You’ll need to be comfortable managing complexity, prioritising competing demands, and rolling up your sleeves. We’re looking for a natural operator who thrives in the deep end, enjoys juggling multiple priorities, and is always looking for better ways to do things.The remit is broad – you'll have visibility and influence across industrial relations, employee relations, workforce engagement and organisational change. A few of the key accountabilities include (minus the fluffy HR jargon):Lead and deliver P&C initiatives aligned with organisational strategy and growth.Provide practical, business-minded advice on workforce planning, complex ER/IR matters, restructures, and change programs.Take the lead on employee performance, conflict resolution, and behavioural matters with confidence.Ensure compliance with Fair Work legislation, Modern Awards, WHS requirements, and internal governance frameworks.Drive meaningful initiatives to improve employee engagement, workplace culture, and staff retention.Support and guide the business through workforce transformation, integration of new teams, and risk mitigation.Represent the organisation in matters before the Fair Work Commission and other external agencies, alongside the CPO.What You Need to Succeed:Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in a senior HR or P&C leadership role.Strong understanding of Australian employment legislation and demonstrated capability managing industrially complex or changing environments.Skilled in influencing senior leaders, with exceptional communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.Proven ability to lead others, coach and uplift capability across teams.Comfortable balancing operational execution with strategic thinking.Demonstrated integrity, judgement, and a values-based approach to HR.Experience in aged care, disability or health is desirable but not essential.Why Join Lumia Care:Competitive remuneration + clear progression opportunitiesFlexible working arrangements that support work-life integrationAccess to ongoing learning and development — grow with usA vibrant and inclusive team culture — we celebrate togetherYou’ll be part of a business that genuinely looks after its peopleReady to apply?Submit your resume and a cover letter addressing the selection criteria.If you require adjustments for the interview (e.g. mobility access), let us know in advance and we’ll be happy to accommodate.Lumia Care is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
