Aus Roofing and Solar is seeking a reliable and hardworking Solar Trade Assistant / Solar Roofer to join our dynamic team. As a full-time role, this position will involve assisting our experienced solar installation crew with the installation and maintenance of residential solar power systems all over Brisbane, Gold coast, Sunshine coast.
What you'll be doing
* Safely and efficiently assisting in the installation of solar panels, inverters, and other solar system components
* Supporting the preparation and installation of roof mounting systems
* Providing general labouring support to the solar installation crew
* Ensuring compliance with all relevant safety standards and regulations
* Maintaining a clean and organised work environment
* Participating in ongoing training and development opportunities
What we're looking for
* Previous experience as a solar trade assistant or in a similar construction or labouring role
* Demonstrated ability to work safely and follow safety protocols
* Good physical fitness and the ability to perform manual labour tasks
* Strong teamwork and communication skills
* A valid driver's licence and reliable transportation
* A positive attitude and willingness to learn
