About the Role
We’re looking for an experienced Bookkeeper / Accounts Officer to join our team on a casual, remote basis. You’ll work with a variety of clients across different industries, handling accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, sales and general ledger reconciliations.
This position starts at 15–20 hours per week, with the potential to increase as the business grows. Hours can be worked flexibly across the week to suit your lifestyle. Training will be provided, with ongoing development opportunities for the right person.
While most work is completed remotely, you may occasionally visit clients onsite or attend in-person training, therefore access to transport is essential.
About You
You’ll be successful in this role if you have:
Minimum 3 years’ experience in accounts payable, receivable and reconciliations (payroll experience highly regarded)
Proficiency in Xero and MYOB
Valuable understanding of the general ledger
High attention to detail and data accuracy
Excellent time management and organisational skills
Ability to manage multiple clients across different industries
Solid communication and customer service skills
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
You are qualified or looking to obtain your bookkeeping qualification
Experience in client-facing roles (advantageous)
