About the Role
Play a key part in ensuring payroll is processed accurately and on time for all employees. This role involves preparing fortnightly payroll, handling employee queries, maintaining records, and supporting improvements to payroll processes and procedures.
It's a hands-on role with plenty of variety and the chance to make a real impact on how payroll runs efficiently across the organisation.
Responsibilities:
* Assist with fortnightly payroll processing for new starters, leave, salary changes, pay adjustments, promotions, and terminations.
* Process superannuation contributions and support end-of-year reconciliations.
* Maintain accurate payroll records, reports, and files.
* Respond to payroll queries from employees and managers.
* Support process improvements and help update procedures and training materials.
About You:
* Previous payroll experience, ideally in a medium-to-large organisation.
* Knowledge of Australian payroll legislation, awards, and enterprise agreements.
* Experience with both payroll systems; Chris21 and Kronos is essential.
* Strong attention to detail, organisation, and time management skills.
* Excellent communication and customer-service focus.
