About the Role:


• We are seeking an accomplished National Fleet Manager to lead, grow and elevate our fleet business during a pivotal stage of our expansion. The successful candidate will bring deep industry experience, strong commercial acumen, and a well-established network across corporate, government, rental and leasing sectors.


• In this high-impact role, you will be accountable for building the most capable OEM fleet organisation, setting strategy, driving national volume, strengthening dealer capability, and executing major fleet opportunities end-to-end.

Key Responsibilities:

Fleet Strategy & National Leadership


• Develop and implement short- and long-term fleet sales strategies to achieve annual sales, profitability and market share objectives.


• Build, lead and mentor a high-performing national fleet team (HQ + regional).


• Establish KPIs, reporting dashboards, tender governance, and performance frameworks.


• Influence product, pricing and corporate strategy through market insights and data-driven recommendations.

Business Development & Sales Execution


• Identify, engage and secure new fleet clients across corporate, government, rental, SME and commercial segments.


• Lead major account acquisition, from prospecting through to proposal, tender, negotiation and contract close.


• Manage tender and RFP submissions with compelling, tailored product value propositions.


• Build a robust sales pipeline and deliver monthly, quarterly and annual volume targets.

Dealer Network Partnership


• Partner with Network team and dealers to drive local fleet business development, support dealer network readiness for future product launches.


• Coach dealer fleet teams on customer engagement, sales capability, tender response, and program execution.

Industry & Stakeholder Relationships


• Leverage strong existing networks with FMOs, leasing companies, rental agencies, and government procurement departments.


• Work with financial services partners (e.g., leasing, novated solutions) to create competitive fleet finance packages.


• Represent the brand at fleet forums, industry committees, associations and dealer events to strengthen brand presence.

Pricing, Program & Commercial Management


• Manage fleet tactical programs, discount structures, incentives and stock planning to ensure commercial balance and sales profitability.


• Coordinate with Product, Marketing, Aftersales and Finance to develop competitive fleet offerings and targeted marketing campaigns.


• Ensure national consistency in quotations, proposals, SLAs and commercial policies.


• Collaborating with the Marketing team to create targeted campaigns/events that promote Geely's fleet offering.

Operational Excellence


• Build and optimise fleet sales processes, CRM workflows, reporting accuracy and tender governance.


• Monitor industry trends, market shifts and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.


• Oversee fleet delivery, aftersales coordination and customer experience metrics to ensure premium service standards.


• Undertake additional duties or contribute to projects related to the Company's business operations, including but not limited to providing leadership or support as reasonably required and consistent with the responsibilities of the role.


• Monitoring industry trends and identifying growth opportunities across the corporate and government fleet sectors

Qualifications:


• 5+ years of experience in a fleet sales management role within the automotive industry, OEM sales experience is mandatory.


• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving team performance.


• Strong understanding of automotive fleet operations and networks.


• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.


• Ability to analyse and interpret sales data, financial reports, and market research.


• Willingness to travel frequently nationally.


• With full working rights in Australia. Visa sponsorship is not available for this role.
