You'll help drive continuous improvement, ensure robust product compliance, and support automation and "Factory of the Future" initiatives.You'll work across everything from warranties and field‐failure investigations to new product launches, supplier improvement and data‐driven capability analysis.**What You'll Do*** Lead and maintain FMEAs, Control Plans, and other APQP activities* Conduct process capability studies (Cp, Cpk, Pp, Ppk) and deliver data‐driven insights* Develop and optimise inspection, sampling and testing methods, including automated inspection* Implement and monitor in‐process quality control systems, including digital data logging* Run supplier audits and qualifications, drive corrective actions and maintain supplier KPIs* Support new product development across multiple upcoming launches* Carry out structured root‐cause analysis (5 Why, Ishikawa, DOE)* Interpret engineering drawings, standards, and specifications to ensure conformance.* Ensure calibration and work with metrology equipment including CMMs, gauges and measurement systems* Collaborate with cross‐functional teams to deliver robust product and process validation* Champion continuous improvement using Lean / Six Sigma methodologies**About You**You're someone who thrives in a complex, fast‐paced manufacturing environment and enjoys balancing competing priorities while maintaining a high level of technical accuracyYou will bring:* A degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering (polymer experience advantageous)* Certification in Lean, Six Sigma, TQM or similar (advantageous)* Experience in high‐volume manufacturing (plastics, metals or building products preferred)* Strong skills in SPC, DoE, statistical analysis and Minitab* Experience in supplier quality, including audits and corrective actions* Exposure to Total Quality Management (TQM) or similar quality systems (advantageous).* Hands on experience with CMMs, gauges and metrology tools and calibration management* Ability to interpret engineering drawings, standards and specifications* A customer‐centric mindset and strong stakeholder communication skills* Agility, resilience and comfort working with shifting priorities* Onsite parking, social club, uniform provided and flexible working hours available to help with school pick up/drop off or to support your health and wellbeing.* You will enjoy working for a business conscious about what we do, how we operate and our impact on the environment.* Industry‐leading paid parental leave: 26 weeks paid for primary carers and 4 weeks paid for secondary carers.* Annual performance‐based bonus for eligible employees.* Access to our Employee Assistance Program for you and your immediate family.* Employee Recognition Programs and Service Awards celebrating your contribution.* Career development opportunities across Australia and internationally.* Opportunity to participate in our mentoring programs.* Be part of our Diversity, Equity & Inclusion initiatives, with the chance to join the DEI Council.* A safe workplace with a strong commitment to Go for Zero.**For more information on this role, please contact Carla Treuer on 0497 323 252.**Aliaxis is proud to be an equal opportunity employer who welcomes candidates and employees from all backgrounds.
