Job Opportunity Overview

The In-Work Support Mentor plays a vital role in providing ongoing guidance, mentorship, and assistance to participants and employers to resolve workplace challenges, strengthen retention, and promote long-term success.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Ensure each participant's unique needs and aspirations for employment are prioritized and addressed;
2. Provide post-placement and on-the-job support tailored to individual requirements to maintain sustainable employment;
3. Mentor participants and offer specialized assistance to address workplace or personal barriers;
4. Engage with local communities, industries, and stakeholders to identify growth opportunities for the organisation;
5. Monitor placement progress and communicate any risks to relevant team members;
6. Maintain accurate records of participants' ongoing employment, services provided, and support rendered;
7. Communicate proactively with team members regarding job loss, potential job loss, or significant reductions in hours, and act swiftly to resolve issues;
8. Represent Help at networking events and within the community, reflecting the organisation's Mission, Vision, and Values.

Full-Time position operating in Gympie, Kingaroy, and the surrounding areas.
