Job Responsibilities
Drive and improve sales results and performance to meet sales targets
Manage distributor relationships in your designated area
Actively call on end users to promote total company products
Develop and execute customer sales plans
Assist Product Managers on market surveys
Establish plans to grow sales with existing customers, in addition to growing sales with new customers
Partner with end users and distributors to identify new opportunities
Project work from time to time
Maintain a high standard of ethics and consistency when dealing with fellow employees
Any other duties as directed by the Regional Sales Manager
Job Requirements
Have a Trade certificate or Engineering degree or equivalent.
Trade background and at least 5 years' experience in an Industrial Sales position
Must have excellent knowledge in welding and cutting processes and associated equipment/consumables
Along with welding applications in engineering, fabrication, mining, oil and gas or pipelines
A minimum of 5 years in a similar sales role – selling within the industrial market
Salesforce or similar CRM
Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite
Excellent communication skills
Excellent interpersonal, presentation and organisational skills
Ability to handle a wide variety of tasks simultaneously
Excellent time management skills
Customer orientated & people focussed
Strong negotiation & influencing skills
