Upstate Sport is looking for an Art Director to lead and evolve the visual identity of the brand across every touchpoint. This is a hands‐on creative role for someone with a strong social‐first mindset and deep understanding of digital execution.
Working within a fast‐moving team, you'll own the creative output end‐to‐end. From concepting campaigns and directing shoots to rolling up your sleeves on day‐to‐day execution and content creation, you'll help shape a brand that feels elevated, relevant and culturally connected.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Define and evolve the Upstate Sport visual identity across all channels and touchpoints
* Translate brand, product and campaign strategy into strong visual storytelling
* Lead and execute creative across ecommerce, social, paid media, CRM, wholesale and brand moments
* Concept, art direct and produce social content, campaign shoots and ecommerce shoots
* Create social‐first creative that feels relevant, elevated and built for digital performance
* Develop creative concepts that support brand growth, community engagement and commercial performance
* Manage shoot planning, styling direction, talent direction, content selection and post‐production feedback
* Work autonomously, balancing creative thinking with strong execution and attention to detail
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
* Highly creative with a strong eye for design, styling and visual storytelling
* Proven experience as an Art Director within a retail, active or lifestyle brand
* Social‐first thinker who understands what cuts through across TikTok, Instagram and paid social
* Strong understanding of digital creative, ecommerce and performance‐driven content
* High attention to detail with the ability to maintain creative consistency
* Deep understanding of visual identity systems, typography and layout
* Passionate about movement, wellness and active lifestyles
