Transport Planner Role
Ensuring efficient Defence logistics operations is crucial to meeting contract expectations. Key responsibilities include:
* Planning, coordinating and confirming transport movements to align with capacity and delivery windows.
* Utilizing ERP/WMS and Transport Management Systems (TMS) to manage bookings, run sheets and tracking.
* Monitoring carrier performance and collaborating with internal teams to improve delivery reliability.
* Coordinating with warehouses to optimize loading, consolidation and dispatch activities.
Key requirements include:
* 3-5 years of experience in business analysis, reporting or process improvement.
* Experience in supply chain, logistics, Defence contracts or complex operations is preferred.
* A valid truck license is required.
