In this role, you'll be hands-on with the installation of recreational spaces in the Darwin region and, at times, across Northern Territory. Typically, projects include, but are not limited to, new playgrounds, landscaping, shade structures, fitness equipment, sports courts etc.
Your work will involve a mix of carpentry, concreting, surfacing, and shade structure construction. Rarely are two days the same. You'll be expected to read and interpret plans, follow construction methods that meet Australian Standards, and ensure every project is delivered safely and to a high quality.
You'll also have the chance to work with machinery. While prior experience is an advantage, it's not essential — full training and support will be provided to help you build new skills and qualifications. From time to time, you'll travel to regional and remote sites, where your work directly contributes to safe and engaging spaces for local communities.
We're a small, family-owned company that's been operating in the Northern Territory for 15 years. The NT lifestyle is at the heart of who we are, and we do our best to reflect that in the way we work. We value flexibility and do what we can to support a healthy balance between work and life, while taking pride in building spaces that make our communities stronger.
