The Role

Reporting to the Manager of Communications and Events, based in Windsor NSW, the primary purpose of this role is to Drive the management, development and continuous improvement of Council's websites to ensure a seamless, accessible and user-centric online experience that aligns with Council's digital objectives and website content standards. To manage internal and external user feedback and make changes if necessary.

About You

You are a highly motivated and analytical professional with a proven track record of using analytics tools to source and analyse data, directly informing website improvements and key business decisions. You possess exceptional communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills, and are adept at managing multiple tasks and meeting tight deadlines. Your initiative and enthusiasm allow you to thrive both in a collaborative team setting and while working independently, all while maintaining a high level of professionalism.

Essential Criteria

* Demonstrated experience in the website management, development and governance of content within a large website using a content management system.

* High level written and verbal communications skills, with demonstrated capacity to write, proofread and edit content for the web, apply corporate style, site architecture, search engine optimisation, design, and development of online applications

* Demonstrated experience in applying accessibility and usability principles to implement website best-practice standards and ensure compliance with accessibility guidelines and/or legislation.

* Broad understanding of online technologies and trends, including social media and how website content can be leveraged across multiple platforms.

* Substantial experience in working with content management systems and websites.

* Understanding of web design concepts such as usability, accessibility and information architecture, as well as knowledge of SEO, SEM and how to use analytics to improve customer experience.

* Experience in the delivery of training and user support.

* Well-developed organisational skills and ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.

* Ability to communicate concisely, accurately and clearly under pressure.

* The right to live and work in Australia

* Class C Drivers Licence
* Working with Children Check (WWCC)
* Successful applicants will be required to undergo background (police) checks and medical declaration
