Join our team as a mid-level Product Manager within our Consumer Product team, reporting directly into a senior Product Leader. This is not a Senior Product Manager role. You will be instrumental in supporting the strategy execution for our core product suite, helping the nation’s largest lenders and businesses make smarter, faster decisions across the entire credit lifecycle.
You will be a key contributor in helping to define the product vision with Senior Product leaders, supporting the delivery of the roadmap, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions that ultimately grow our market share across sectors. We are looking for a hands-on Product Manager focused on the next chapter at Equifax, where we are taking new, exciting solutions to market and optimising our existing core offerings. If you are strategic, data-driven, and ready to own the lifecycle of high-impact FinTech products, please apply below!
What You'll Do
- Support and Champion the Product Vision: Support the delivery of the strategy and roadmap for a key part of our Consumer portfolio, focusing on the products lenders use to assess and manage risk, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
- Deeply Understand Customer Needs: Conduct market research, customer interviews, and user testing to identify lender pain points, validate hypotheses, and uncover new opportunities for product growth across the lending lifecycle..
- Define and Prioritise the Backlog: Contribute to explicit, concise Product Requirements Documents (PRDs) and user stories, and support the management of the feature backlog working closely with Product Owners within the Consumer business
- Drive Go-to-Market (GTM): Work closely with Marketing, Sales, and Legal to develop compelling positioning, collateral, and training materials required for successful product launches and market adoption.
- Measure and Optimise: Define and track key product and business metrics (e.g., revenue, adoption, and accuracy) and use data analysis to inform iteration and future product investment decisions.
- Contribute to Strategy: Assist in developing pricing models, investment justifications, and business cases to demonstrate the financial viability and strategic value of new product initiatives.
What You'll Need
- 2 to 4+ years of experience in Product Management within (ideally within a financial services, FinTech, or technology company but that’s not essential).
- Proven experience in defining, supporting, and successfully launching complex products is ideal but we're open to adjacent experiences too.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to define metrics, analyse data, and build financial models to support decision-making.
- Excellent organisational and stakeholder management skills.
- An understanding of the product lifecycle and experience working in an Agile development environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a knack for simplifying complex concepts for diverse audiences.
- Proficiency in using product collaboration and planning tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Aha).
