Multiple Systems Administrators | TSPV Cleared | Defence & Intelligence Sector
Cleared Recruitment is supporting a trusted Defence and Intelligence sector organisation delivering critical ICT capability across the Australian Intelligence Community.
We are seeking multiple TSPV Windows System Administrators to join a critical ICT project starting in December 2025. These are 12-month contracts with two 12-month extension options, offering long-term project stability.
Roles are available across Canberra, Brisbane, Melbourne, and Adelaide – however, please note this work is onsite only due to the secure nature of the environment.
Applicants must hold an active TSPV clearance.
Working under broad direction from the Commonwealth, you’ll contribute to a wide range of infrastructure activities including desktop delivery, complex gateways, cloud environments, and secure mobility platforms.
This is a high-impact opportunity for experienced engineers to support critical infrastructure within Australia\'s national security and intelligence environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build, deploy and manage virtual desktop SOEs using PowerShell and scripting
- Administer Active Directory and Group Policy in a secured EUC workplace
- Application packaging and deployment via Microsoft Configuration Manager (MECM/SCCM)
- Apply regular software updates and security patching (Essential Eight)
- Configure network switches and support deployment methodologies
- Integrate desktop environments with MFA solutions
- Troubleshoot Windows system faults and performance issues
- Monitor and optimise virtual desktop infrastructure (Citrix/NetScaler preferred)
Technical Skills & Experience:
- Demonstrated experience with Microsoft server and desktop technologies including Exchange, WSUS, and MECM
- Strong PowerShell scripting skills for automation and environment maintenance
- Experience in secured government ICT environments (Essential Eight compliance)
- Familiarity with Citrix, remote desktop services, or other virtualised environments
Requirements:
- Active TSPV Clearance (OSA must be completed prior to commencement)
- Must be available to work onsite – WFH is not permitted
- Must be an Australian citizen
