Hutchies is seeking a motivated and experienced Site Foreman to join our committed Townsville team for a $10 million project based in Mount Isa. This is a 12-month opportunity, with the potential for ongoing permanent employment to be reviewed following the commencement of the project.

# Responsibilities
As a Site Foreman, your responsibilities will include:
* Supervise and coordinate daily activities of the site workforce
* Ensure compliance with project plans, specifications, and safety regulations
* Monitor project progress and maintain schedules
* Conduct site inspections and address issues as they arise
* Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to meet project requirements
* Oversee the quality of workmanship and materials used on-site
* Maintain accurate records of site activities, including daily reports and site diaries
* Plan and manage works to meet safety, quality, program, and budget objectives
* Review and improve Work Method Statements prior to execution
* Complete any required permits to work
* Communicate effectively with the workforce on project matters
* Provide leadership and guidance to Tradespersons and Leading Hands
* Ensure delivery aligns with drawings and specifications
* Manage rectification of any construction defects
# Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should have:
* Relevant tertiary qualifications in the respective field for this role
* 3 – 5 years' experience in a similar role
* Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
* Professional written and verbal communication skills
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
* Strong knowledge of market conditions, construction techniques, and industry standards
* Ability to work in a team environment and have initiative when working independently
* Strong relationship building with all relevant stakeholders
* A down-to-earth, fun, friendly and professional approach to your work
