Our longstanding client is Australia's leading corrosion prevention specialist and solutions company. As a result of significant growth and successful tenders we are seeking Multiple Disciplines to join their dynamic locally owned and operated business.
As a leader in the industry of applying specific coatings and surface preparations for many different Industries, your job will be to prepare the surfaces of various pieces of equipment unique to the relevant Industries, then apply their various coatings to ultimately prevent wear and corrosion. Whilst the role is mainly in the brand-recent purpose-built workshop, there will be times where you will be working at BlueScope’s major upgrade the No.6 Blast Furnace Reline Project.
We are currently seeking multiple positions with experience in the following areas:
· Concrete Renderers and Grouters
· Trowel Hands
· Water Proofers
· Plasterers
· Tiler’s
Desired Skills and attributes:
- Ability to read and follow paint specifications and job instructions
- Knowledge of safety procedures and PPE use (especially around hazardous coatings)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality finishes
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- OHS Construction Induction Card (White Card)
- Ability to pass Drug and Alcohol screens
This role is a casual to permanent position for the right candidates, with 38 hour Mon - Fri work with overtime and weekends: Pay rates are reflective of skills, experience and training.
