Experienced electrical fitter required building turn key batching equipment for the water treatment industry involving mining, water corporations, paper and food industries. Working on mostly new equipment and refurbishing of existing equipment when required. Role involves all aspects of switchboard construction, assembly and field wiring to motors and instruments, testing of completed batch systems often dealing directly with clients for FAT. Although there is no site work involved there are occasions where commissioning support is required within Australia.
Minimum 3-5 years of electrical fitting experience is required for this position.
Also providing factory/workshop maintenance as required, trouble shooting and installation of new machines within the workshop.
You would be working directly with electrical and mechanical engineers, fabricators and mechanical fitters in a long established local company building high quality equipment across many industries.
Current Australian electrical licence/certification is required at commencement of employment.
Experience with Allen Bradley, E&H and Schneider products highly regarded as would a Cert IV in electrotechnology/instrumentation.
