These models allow leaders and marketers to test strategies, run "what if" scenarios, and make confident decisions before committing resources in the real world.
About the Role
We're looking for someone who thrives on people – not process for its own sake. You'll own Prophet's approach to talent and culture, making sure we hire incredible people, build the right structures to support them, and scale a team that feels energised to do the best work of their careers.
This is a part-time, senior position for someone who can balance hands-on recruiting with creating the frameworks and people practices that let a high-growth company move fast without losing its soul. You'll need to be comfortable spinning plates, shifting priorities, and building from scratch in a fast-moving environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesTalent & Hiring
* Lead end-to-end hiring across Prophet, from role design and sourcing to candidate experience and closing.
* Build a strong employer brand and presence in ANZ's tech and marketing science communities.
* Partner with leadership to forecast hiring needs and design scalable recruiting processes.
People & Culture
* Create and embed people practices that make Prophet a place people want to stay and grow.
* Develop onboarding, performance frameworks, and lightweight processes that support-not slow-our team.
* Work closely with leadership to align culture, values, and ways of working as Prophet scales.
Advisory & Enablement
* Be a trusted sounding board for leadership on people strategy, team structure, and culture.
* Support managers with practical playbooks for coaching, feedback, and team development.
* Help us anticipate people challenges before they become blockers.
What You Bring
* 7+ years in people, talent, or culture-focused roles in startups/scale-ups.
* A track record of hiring exceptional talent in competitive markets.
* Experience designing people frameworks that scale without becoming bureaucratic.
* Strong ability to connect with people at every level – candidates, team members, and leaders.
* Pragmatism: you know when to build process and when to keep things light.
* High integrity and genuine passion for creating great places to work.
