* Fixed Term Full Time opportunity available until July 2026 (9 day fortnight, 36.25 hours per week)
* Tertiary qualification in Geographical Information Systems, Cartography, Surveying or Information Technology, or equivalent experience
* LGO 4 - 6 ($79,413 - $100,332 per annum + superannuation) based on skills, qualifications and experience

About The Role

Providing strong analytical competency with specialised spatial technical skills, business engagement skills, and extensive knowledge and experience, the Spatial Analyst is responsible for the provision of high quality appropriate and accurate spatial analysis, advice, products and services to Council and the community.

About You

The ideal candidate will have:
* Tertiary qualification in Geographical Information Systems, Cartography, Surveying or Information Technology, or equivalent experience
* Minimum 2 years relevant industry experience and experience in a similar position
* Sound knowledge of spatial, analytical, modelling and visualisation skills, including 3D Modelling and Networks.
* Sound knowledge of Geographic Information Systems, applications (ESRI suite of products), Business Information Management Systems; for example, in Enterprise Asset Management and Property and Rating, GIS programming logic, and spatial technologies and peripherals such as AutoCAD.
* Understanding of cartographic best practices for map creation and visualisation.
* Experience identifying, analysing, and solving model problems and thinking creatively about data models.
* Sound communication skills with demonstrated experience in stakeholder engagement to provide services and achieve quality customer outcomes.
* Sound knowledge in of spatial concepts and iterative development across a diverse enterprise environment.
