ServiceNow Developer - 12 Month Contract - Perth
$100 to $115 per hour (Depending on experience)
We are a leading Perth based ICT Consultancy Firm, who is currently looking for an experienced Senior ServiceNow Developer with strong skills in complex forms and workflow development.
This is a full-time contract role, 6 months initially with the option of a further 6-month extension. You will be working with one of our key Government clients. This role offers flexible working hours, with scope to work from home 50% of the time.
Preference would be for Perth based candidates. However, may also consider fully remote working from home for the right candidate
In this role you will be tasked the development of several complex form and workflows to assist with business and technical process automation, systems and platform integration, data capture, auditing, and reporting. These workflows provision accounts, access to systems, and the ordering of equipment. They also provide reports for auditing and security purposes. The team is responsible for the full lifecycle development of the workflows from requirements and acceptance criteria development to testing and test plan development, change management, release, knowledge managementand support. The team is also responsible for testing and validating ServiceNow security patches and platform upgrades and ensuring continuity and operability of the platform and associated workflows.
Main Responsibilities
* Working hand-in-hand with the ServiceNow Business Analyst and ServiceNow Admin to design and develop a large number of complex form and workflows
* Developing, installing, and troubleshooting ServiceNow applications and workflows.
* Integrating ServiceNow with other programs
* Troubleshoot bugs, fix defects, and support users of ServiceNow workflows and applications
* Performing code reviews to ensure that the quality bar is being met with regards to coding standards, integration, extensibility, and security
* Ensure workflow designs, enhancements, and/or changes are documented and maintained in the ServiceNow knowledgebase
* Assist in maintaining detailed documentation of application design and code generation techniques
Key skills and background
* Advanced ServiceNow development experience
* Previous experience developing complex workflows and forms
* Proficiency in the ServiceNow platform and its diverse components, including experience of Flow Designer, and Workflows.
* Adept in UI development with the capability to handle some debugging, HTML, CSS, XML, and RESTful web services.
* Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
* Good team working ethics and happy to work in a collaborative environment.
Nice to have
* ServiceNow certifications a bonus
* Any previous government industry experience and highly regarded but not required
