Survey Data Support Role
This position is crucial in providing accurate survey data to support mine operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of accuracy and quality in their work.
The role involves working under the guidance of a Registered Mining Surveyor and utilizing modern survey equipment, such as Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS), Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems (RPAS), total station theodolites, laser scanners, and related software.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver precise survey data to meet statutory and operational requirements.
* Ensure consistent maintenance of survey standards in both field and office environments.
* Conduct surveys using advanced technologies like GNSS, total stations, terrestrial laser scanners, and RPAS systems.
* Take an active part in the daily management of the Survey Office.
* Demonstrate commitment to safety practices within the workplace.
Qualifications
* A recent graduate or nearing completion of a formal surveying qualification (Diploma, Associate Degree, or Degree).
* Ability to adapt and apply various surveying technologies with ease.
* Excellent communication, written, and interpersonal skills.
* Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent time-management capabilities.
