In this role, you will oversee the financial operations of the Centre and provide key support in budgeting, reporting, compliance, and day-to-day financial administration.Key ResponsibilitiesManage accounts payable and receivable, including childcare fees and supplier paymentsProcess payroll and ensure compliance with relevant awards and entitlementsPrepare monthly financial reports, budgets, and forecastsReconcile bank statements and maintain general ledger entriesMonitor cash flow and support funding/grant reportingEnsure compliance with ATO, CCS (Child Care Subsidy), and regulatory requirementsLiaise with external accountants, auditors, and regulatory bodies as requiredAssist with policy development related to financial management and sustainabilityRequirementsQualifications in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (Diploma or higher)Minimum 2 years' experience in a finance/accounting roleFamiliarity with early childhood education funding and CCS processes (desirable)Strong working knowledge of accounting software (e.g.
