As the Clinical Manager- Theatre, you will be a key leader within the Perioperative Departments. You will provide optimal leadership and management, assuming responsibility and accountability for the standard of clinical care delivered and the operational performance of the Theatres. You will be influential in creating a professional environment and fostering a respectful culture where interdisciplinary team members are able to collaborate effectively to positively impact patient outcomes and professional growth.
Your main duties will include:
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities in previous management experience
- Expert knowledge of the perioperative environment
- Efficient time management and excellent communication skills
- A desire to join a team committed to the care of others in a mission based organisation
- Exercise advanced clinical judgement, critical thinking and ethical decision-making processes in the delivery and coordination of perioperative nursing care.
- Strategic planning and workforce analysis recognising and aiding staff development and satisfaction
About you
The Clinical Manager - Theatre will be responsible for the daily management and operational efficiencies of all activities carried out by the Perioperative department. The Clinical Manager - Theatre will manage existing workforce and project forward to build a cohesive efficient perioperative team environment. Maintaining collaborative leadership with all stakeholders and key reporting lines.

For this role you will require:
- Current registered AHPRA
- Tertiary qualification in management/business or other appropriate discipline desirable
- Previous Perioperative management experience
- Expertise and/or qualification in Perioperative nursing
- Demonstrated leadership qualities
- Strong customer service principles
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical and problem solving skills
- Write clear and concise communication to staff
- Willingness to embrace the hospital's core values mission and vision
