About your new role
Wellways is excited to offer the position of Home Care Worker. This role will suit someone who enjoys interacting with and supporting our participants with their daily activities.
In this role, you will work on the front line of our Consumer Directed Services, delivering a wide range of services to support participants' activities of daily living. The role requires working closely with the person to ensure their individual needs are met.
Home Care Workers are the front line of our programs, providing consumers with personalized support to help them live meaningful and fulfilling lives. No day will be the same and may include providing supports such as companionship, personal care, meal preparation, domestic assistance, and medication management. An essential element of your role is actively contributing to the continuous improvement of care provided to participants.
You will need :
* Certificate III in Mental Health, Disability, Aged Care, or Home and Community Care (Desirable but not essential) or equivalent working or lived experience
* Current Driver's Licence
* Satisfactory National Police Records Check
* Current Working with Children Check
* Right to Work in Australia
* NDIS Worker Screening Check
* NDIS Workers Orientation Module Certificate
