Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Child Development Specialist to provide evidence-based, trauma-informed therapeutic interventions and counseling to children and young people who have experienced family and domestic violence.
The Role:
You will be responsible for delivering counseling sessions, group work, and offering secondary support to non-offending parents or caregivers. Your focus will be on strengthening attachment, addressing trauma impacts on child development, and providing referrals to support agencies.
Key Responsibilities:

Requirements:
* Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counselling, or related field
* Membership and registration with a relevant accredited peak body (AASW, APS, ACA, etc.)
* Experience working with children and young people affected by trauma and domestic violence
* Strong understanding of trauma-informed care and therapeutic practices
* Current Working with Children Check (WWCC)
* Eligibility to work in Australia is required - sponsorship is not available
