As an Assistant Manager, you will be reporting directly to the Venue where you will lead a team in delivering the daily operations of the venue.

This is a fantastic opportunity where you will have the opportunity to create a unique experience for our guests, take good care, and lead a dynamic team with integrity.

Responsibilities

* Assist Venue Manager to lead and support achievement of financial and operational targets
* Oversee operational functions that include rostering requirements, standard operating procedures, training and performance management
* Assist with the development, implementation and evaluation of service standards and standard operating procedures
* Ensure that all areas of the business comply with the Responsible Service of Alcohol program and relevant provisions of the Liquor Act
* Assist in managing the selection, training and development of all employees to ensure timely recruitment and career growth

Qualifications

* Management experience within in a similar large busy environment, with a thorough knowledge of food and beverages
* Demonstrated ability in planning and resourcing people and products, performance management and controlling labour costs and operating expenses
* Exceptional guest service skills with a proactive attitude and natural ability to communicate effectively with a diverse range of guests
* Current RSA Statement of Attainment
* Flexible with availability for work over a 7-day roster
