Fleet Technician
At our organization, we're seeking a skilled Fleet Technician to join our Operations team.
* About the Role:
* We're looking for a technician with hands-on experience in the motor and mechanical industry, with skills in heavy and light fleet operations, plant equipment and specialist trades.
* The successful candidate will participate in workshop operations by undertaking trade-based activities required to diagnose, maintain and repair light fleet and plant machinery.
* This role involves conducting general mechanical and electrical maintenance repairs, as well as performing general plant work including maintenance, inspection, repairs and adjustments to all fleet assets.
* You'll also provide mechanical engineering assistance with vehicle fit-outs and inspections.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Diagnostic, specialist testing and fault diagnosis of vehicle compliance requirements to meet industry standards.
2. Conducting general mechanical and electrical maintenance repairs plus engineering projects.
3. Performing general plant work including maintenance, inspection, repairs and adjustments to all fleet assets.
4. Undertaking field-based plant and equipment maintenance during planned and unplanned situations.
5. Providing mechanical engineering assistance with vehicle fit-outs and inspections.
Required Qualifications:
* Certificate III Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology or Certificate III Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology.
* NSW Drivers License (HR).
* WorkCover NSW Construction Induction Cert.
