Operations Coordinator
to lead the delivery of key operational services across horticulture, works & maintenance, depot operations, fleet management, and cemetery services.

As Operations Coordinator, you will:
* Lead staff, contractors and consultants across multiple operational service areas
* Oversee delivery of horticulture, public cemetery services, works/maintenance, depot operations, and plant & fleet programs
* Develop and implement policies, procedures, work schedules and service improvement initiatives
* Ensure operations meet legislative, regulatory, environmental and safety standards
* Manage budgets, reporting, tenders, funding submissions and strategic planning
* Drive cross-team collaboration to ensure seamless service delivery
* Support staff development, performance management and capability growth
You'll thrive in this role if you are:
* An experienced leader in local government operations, civil works, maintenance, parks/horticulture, or similar fields
* Skilled in coordinating teams, contractors and multiple service streams
* Strong in planning, budgeting, reporting and compliance
* A proactive communicator who drives efficiency and continuous improvement
* Able to balance community, environmental and financial outcomes in decision-making

* Demonstrated leadership experience in operational or works-based environments
* Experience managing budgets, contractors, service delivery and compliance
* Strong communication, stakeholder engagement & organisational skills
* Ability to implement policies, procedures and strategic work programs
* Understanding of safety, regulatory and legislative requirements relevant to council operations
* Proven ability to lead staff development and performance outcomes
