Job Description
Position Purpose & Overview
Senior School Teachers are responsible for delivering high-quality Christian education that supports students to flourish academically, socially, emotionally, spiritually, and vocationally within a safe, engaging, and relational learning environment. The role involves planning and delivering effective curriculum programs, fostering positive student wellbeing and behaviour, and contributing actively to the wider life and culture of the College. Working collaboratively with colleagues and College leadership, the teacher is expected to create inclusive, supportive, and academically rigorous learning experiences that recognise the diverse needs, strengths, and aspirations of students while meeting curriculum and assessment requirements. The successful applicant will model Christian values, demonstrate professional excellence, and build strong partnerships with students, families, and colleagues to support each student in achieving their God-given potential. This role requires a committed Christian educator who demonstrates strong interpersonal skills, contemporary pedagogical practice, effective classroom management, and a commitment to ongoing professional growth. The teacher will actively support and uphold the mission, vision, and values of the College in all aspects of school life.
Occupational Requirements & Qualifications
Senior School Teachers must have:
* Current registration with the Queensland College of Teachers (QCT)
* Meet the requirements of the QCT and AITSL Standards
* Experience teaching in a Senior School setting

* Demonstrated teaching experience and a strong understanding of contemporary curriculum, pedagogy, and assessment practices.
* The ability to plan, deliver, evaluate, and adapt engaging and effective teaching and learning programs appropriate to the relevant year levels and subject areas.
* A commitment to student wellbeing and the understanding that positive relationships are foundational to learning success.
* Strong classroom management skills and the ability to create safe, inclusive, orderly, and engaging learning environments.
* Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to work collaboratively with students, parents, and colleagues.
