The Company
Our client is a leading international company in the area of formwork, scaffolding and engineering. They provide customers in the building industry with efficient solutions for rational construction.
Responsibilities
* Design formwork, shoring, and scaffolding solutions using company products in accordance with company guidelines and Australian standards, while maintaining efficient and effective use of time.
* Provide technical advice on all company products to customers, associates, and company employees.
* Ensure work is carried out safely, following workplace health and safety, quality rules, and country regulations.
* Actively promote the supply of leading technical service and leadership by example.
* Develop an understanding of company products and technical design strategies.
* Assist the Engineering Manager with the everyday running of the department, including reviewing designs, assigning workload, recruitment, and development of technical staff in the Victorian branch.
Candidate Profile
* Ability to liaise with people at all levels from diverse cultural backgrounds.
* Depth of experience in a similar role, working with all aspects of formwork, falsework, and scaffolding designs. Experience in management and staff development desirable for senior design role.
* Highly skilled at coaching and mentoring engineers and developing team dynamic.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
* Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to establish and maintain good working relationships.
* Ability to work in a team and has a positive working attitude.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Compensation
Annual salary: $80,000 to $100,000.
