Home Care Worker Job Opportunity
We are seeking compassionate individuals to join our team of home care workers in the Melbourne area.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver exceptional home care services to elderly clients within their residences.
* Assist with personal care tasks, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
* Support clients in their mobility and daily living activities.
* Assist with medications according to clients' prescribed schedules.
* Prepare meals and ensure dietary needs are met.
* Undertake housekeeping duties, including cleaning and laundry.
* Provide companionship and engage in meaningful conversations with clients.
* Offer social support and transportation assistance for medical appointments and grocery shopping.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Certification in Individual Support, Aged Care, Disability Support, or a related field is desired.
* Medication Assistance/Prompting certificate is preferred but not mandatory.
* Prior experience in caring for elderly or disabled individuals is preferred but not mandatory.
* Hold a valid Victorian driver's license and a reliable vehicle.
* A valid and clear National Police Check.
* Display compassion, patience, and understanding towards clients.
