We are currently seeking a dedicated Maintenance Supervisor to join our Bristile Roofing Maintenance team in Wacol, Queensland.
Reporting to the Plant Manager, you will be responsible for planning and organising maintenance for all manufacturing plant assets at Wacol, ensuring that all scheduled production takes place while overseeing the maintenance department.
Duties include but are not limited to:
Ensure maintenance of all Wacol plants is conducted as required.
Supervise and assist with the development of the maintenance team to ensure team members have the skills to perform their roles and provide assistance with all maintenance tasks.
Plan daily, weekly, monthly, and annual maintenance activities to improve operations.
Review stored critical spare parts and manage purchasing within the approved budget.
Work with the Plant Manager and Operations Coordinator to ensure adherence to the maintenance budget.
Lead the implementation, adoption, and compliance with best practice maintenance processes and procedures.
Investigate and resolve reported plant performance problems in the tile and trim plants.
Ensure maintenance work complies with Brickworks safety standards and requirements.
Ensure contractors and suppliers perform work to Brickworks' safety standards and provide quality services at reasonable and justified costs.
Success Requirements:
Electrical Trade qualification.
Demonstrated commitment to workplace health and safety (WHS) compliance.
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, equipment, and procedures.
Proven leadership experience in a maintenance or supervisory role.
Excellent leadership and team development abilities.
Strong problem-solving skills, particularly in resolving mechanical breakdowns.
Clear and confident communicator, both verbal and written.
Able to prioritise effectively and respond quickly to minimise downtime.
Competent in reading technical drawings and specifications.
