We are seeking an experienced Department Manager to lead our team in a fast-paced retail environment.
About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for driving a selling culture within the team, utilizing and exploiting data to support operational decisions, consistently raising performance and capability of the team, implementing a continuous improvement mentality, and serving as the point of contact for client and cast member matters.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
* Creating Amazing Customer Experience by supporting your team to provide clients with meaningful in-store experiences that build brand loyalty through promoting positive behaviors to elevate client experience
* Managing Day-to-Day Store Operations by driving operational initiatives including brand events, training, and supporting visual merchandising changes to ensure the store represents the brand and culture
* Developing Sales and Budget Strategies by assisting in managing the profit and loss for the store, monitoring stock levels to maximize sales and profitability, and identifying, analyzing, and forecasting sales or issues
* Enhancing Our Culture by maintaining a strong and positive culture where everyone is valued, recognized, and enabled to succeed through feedback and career development, coaching, learning, and recognition
* Maintaining Results by monitoring KPIs and helping develop store talent
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you should have previous retail management experience at a big box retailer, excellent organisational, analytical, and business management skills, strong emotional intelligence, communication skills, and the ability to influence team members at all levels. You should also be proficient in using the Microsoft Office Suite and have a drive for results with a history of exceeding sales targets and KPIs.
