Six Degrees hasbeen engaged by a globalequipment manufacturer to recruit a WHS Advisor for their Kemps Creek distribution site. The role of the WHS Advisor is to facilitate risk assessments, implement and develop WHS policies and ensure site safety in a warehouse and distribution environment.
The role is a 6-month contract (they are open to candidates who can do either part time and full time hours) with the ideal candidate able to start immediately!
Responsibilities
* Implementation of WHS strategies in a warehousing environment
* Experience advising to Site Leadership
* Work with WHS team to improve the existing WHS Management System
* Develop WHS policies based on risk assessments
Ideal candidate
* Proven experience in a Safety role - Minimum 2+ years
* Working experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment is a must
* Ability to work autonomously
* Good knowledge of risk management and traffic management
* Well rounded WHS knowledge
* At least 1 year of Australian work experience
