REMA TIP TOP is a market leading multi-national organisation, providing world-wide support services in the mining and industrial sectors, as well as a leading supplier of Tyre repair materials in the automotive sector.
Due to ongoing demand for our quality products and services and the recent successful acquisition of some new clients, we are on the search for Trade Assistants to join our team based at our Kwinana Branch. You will work with our close-knit team of skilled services employees, Supervisors and Coordinators that promote a high safety culture, and are willing to go the extra mile for each other and the Company.
THE ROLE
As a Trade Assistant you will work on a Full-Time basis assisting Belt Splicing, Rubber Lining and Mechanical works within the workshop and field services. The successful candidate must be willing to assist the team in a variety of work and will be offered the opportunity to be a part of our growing company.
We are looking for Trade Assistants who can meet the following criteria:
* A current Drivers Licence is essential; MR Preferred
* White Card, Working at Heights, Confined Spaces; Essential.
* A strong commitment to safety, quality and customer service.
* High level communication skills and attention to detail.
* Willingness to undergo and pass a police check and pre-employment medical.
* Must be prepared to be flexible in relation to the nature of duties performed.
* Excellent communication skills, self-motivation and a strong work ethic.
Key responsibilities of the role will include but not limited to the following:
* Performing duties to change out pulleys and cleaner refurbishments.
* Assisting Mechanical works
* Assisting Rubber lining of pulleys and rubber sleeves in the workshop
* Receive and verify incoming parts, materials, and supplies, maintain stock areas, prepare sales orders, pick up and deliver orders, stock, and supplies.
* Detect and report equipment, defective material, improper operations and unusual conditions to supervision.
* Observe all prescribed safety rules and regulations and maintain work area in a neat and orderly condition.
* Travel to customer sites and work on field services on an as needed basis.
* Willingness to undergo and pass a police check and pre-employment medical
