Our client is a large, world-renowned health organisation currently looking for a commercially astute Finance Business Partner on a temp to perm basis. The organisation has a famous reputation across Australia and beyond. **The Role**
Reporting to the Head of FP&A, with indirect reporting lines to the COO and the Head of Operations, your main responsibilities will include:
- Managing the budget of some of the most critical divisions within the organisation
- Working with Department Heads as well as Executive Leadership
- Participate in the identification, implementation and measurement of budget strategies including savings for your responsible departments
- Support robust planning (budgeting and forecasting) by establishing models (revenue and cost) to ensure management actions are aligned to plans and targets
- Lead end of month activities for your allocated Divisions (preparing journals, accruals etc.)
- Complete the monthly performance reports for the allocated Division which includes workforce analysis, financial performance, activity/access performance and projects updates
- Provide timely financial and business management insights to the assigned divisions/departments and Executive Director on financial, budgetary, costing and other general accounting and business matters
- Other ad-hoc analysis & process improvements
As there is a preference for an urgent start, where this role will initially begin as a 6-month temp arrangement with an opportunity to go permanent, potentially in a team-leading capacity.
The organisation offers a flexible working environment with the opportunity to work from home 2-3 days a week.
**About you**
- Degree in Accounting, Commerce, Business or related field.
- Preferably CA or CPA Qualified with experience in a Finance Business Partnering / Commercial Finance / Management Accounting capacity
- You enjoy communicating with financial and non-financial stakeholders and have the talent to influence and build relationships
- You enjoy presenting commercial and financial outcomes to senior financial and operational stakeholders
- You have an analytical mind and are a natural talent in understanding the story behind the numbers as well as anticipating what is to come
- You thrive working in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to analyse large, complex data sets and highlight key business insights to business partners
- A willingness to be hands-on
