Job Description
Experienced and reliable drivers are required to safely operate a range of vehicles including rigid trucks and crane trucks. Key responsibilities include loading, securing, and unloading cargo using appropriate equipment and techniques. Compliance with all relevant road transport regulations and safety protocols is essential.
Additional duties include conducting pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle roadworthiness. Accurate records of vehicle usage, loads, and delivery times must be maintained. Providing excellent customer service to clients and stakeholders is also crucial.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* A valid Heavy Rigid (HR) driver's licence is mandatory, while a Heavy Combination (HC) licence is an advantage.
* Strong understanding of road safety, load restraint, and vehicle maintenance is essential.
* Excellent communication and customer service skills are necessary for this role.
* Flexibility and adaptability to changing work requirements are also important.
