You will work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure the delivery of high-quality and patient-cantered care.Key responsibilities:– Provide primary healthcare services to patients in rural areas, including diagnosis, treatment, and management of acute and chronic conditions.– Respond to emergency medical situations and provide immediate care to patients.– Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients.– Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for all patients.– Participate in on-call duties as required.– Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical policies and procedures.– Actively participate in continuing medical education and keep up-to-date with the latest medical advancements and best practices.Qualifications and experience:– Medical degree from a recognized institution.– Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) or ability to gain this on the AMC specialist pathway with ACRRM or the RACGP.– Minimum of 3 years of experience as a General Practitioner since gaining a specialist family medicine qualification.– Experience in emergency medicine is highly desirable.– Excellent diagnostic and clinical skills.– Strong communication and interpersonal skills.– Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.– Willingness to work in a rural setting and provide on-call services.– Current Advanced Life Support certification is preferred.To apply for this position, please submit your resume to sarah@gp2oz.com.
